Sprawl, Taxes and Race in America's Regions

The Struggle to Grow Equitably: Sprawl, Taxes and Race in America's Regions, to be published later this year, examines growth patterns in the 100 largest U.S. metropolitan areas with particular attention given to fiscal inequality and racial segregation. Expanding on the analysis in American Metropolitics: The New Suburban Reality, the work relies on extensive mapping of demographic trends in the 100 metros.
